  • PC Mall-hosted Exchange 
There’s no capital investment on your part, no administrative headaches, and no risk. A monthly subscription for each of your users can be purchased as a stand-alone Exchange Hosted Services subscription or in combination with other Microsoft products as part of a Microsoft Communications Suite.   • Microsoft-hosted Exchange 
Similar to PC Mall-hosted Exchange, you purchase a monthly subscription for each of your workers. This online solution is managed by Microsoft’s Online Services.
  • On-premise Exchange
Purchase your own servers, storage, network infrastructure and licenses to deploy in your own office. You purchase a license for each of your Exchange Server 2010 instances and also Client Access Licenses (CALs) for each of your users or devices. You can acquire standalone licenses for Exchange, or purchase licenses in combination with other Microsoft products in one of several suites.
